Montee Ball ties NCAA record for career touchdowns

Wisconsin?s Montee Ball tied the all-time Division I record for career touchdowns Saturday.

His seven-yard touchdown run in the second quarter against Ohio State was his 78th career touchdown which tied him with Travis Prentice, who played for Miami of Ohio from 1996-99.

It was Ball?s 16th touchdown of the season and it cut the lead of the game to 14-7.

The all-time record is 130 touchdowns which is held by Mount Union?s Nate Kmic.
